Excitement & Frustration

I am so excited about Christmas. I have never been a big Christmas person either. I have so many hopes for Christmas morning and I'm trying not to get them up too high and be disappointed. I wouldn't consider myself a greedy person even though many different people spoil the heck outta me. All I want for Christmas morning is for...

1. To see the joy in Owen's face as he wakes up Christmas Morning
2. For Owen to really believe that a fat man in a red suit was really in our house
3. My garage door to be fixed (Got this one, thanks Scott)
4. For this to be the most memorable Christmas for Owen

I am so excited to stuff Brett and Owen's stocking!!!!

Now for the Frustration...

Owen has been at Mindy's since last Friday. So last night she calls and says he is sick and she wants us to take him to the doctor. So Brett agrees to meet her at Owen's doctor in Dallas. She is late for the appoinment and asks to move it back. No, stupid it's Christmas Eve Eve, you can't change an appoinment that was hard to get in the first place. Then after finding out Owen has strep she wants to take him to the movies... are you kidding me? Oh, that little boy has the ability to break my heart. It hurts now just to know he doesn't feel good and I can't hold him.
